Photographer’s Note
Photographers are amoung the few people who look up as they walk around (which is why so many fall over sadly). This barbed wire could be anywhere, but is in fact over an alley near the SS Great Britain in Bristol. Most people won't notice it's there.

Welcome to TE Robert. An interesting graphic image you present for your first posting. I very much like this style of shot, using osberved natural patterns to make semi abstract images. FOr this I especially like the way that the general focus of all the lines is in the bottom right of the frame.

Well observed, crisply contrasted and admirably arranged. The Golden Mean in black and blue.

Yes, this is a very compelling shot Rob. 'petertee' makes an interesting observation about this showing the golden mean. I'm not sure it's quite that, but it's still a strangely satisfying balance of shapes whilst being vaguely unsettling because of the nature of the subject.
The plain sky also works very well - it's interesting how it's often the simplest of shots that have the greatest impact.
Oh, and do photographers always do things sadly?

very good Silhouette. looks like a hard graphical element that though simple trigger emotions. The barber wire is nicely spread on the clear blue sky.

Bonjour Robert,
Tu a réussi à rendre intéressant un objet assez banal : c'est l'art du photographe. Cordialement. Serge.
