Photographer’s Note

Well I keep saying this will be the last for the year then we get surprises like this one turn up,An immaculate male Southern hawker (Aeshena cyanea) here getting warmed up ready to go find his break-fast,it was quiet a chilly night here and slow to warm up even at 10-00 am he was trying to be warm enough to move, he flew off a few frames after this, but not before I got a whole load of shots.
the grapes are being grown on the nusery against a wall for warmth and I presume that is why he picked the spot to roost.
