Photographer’s Note
Contrary to "The Tube" (London's mass transit system) that is a bit outdated and slow; the Heathrow Express trains that run between Heathrow Aiport and Paddington Rail Station are very modern and are the fastest way to make the trip, taking an average of about 15 minutes. At time of posting fares started at 14 GBP, or 26 GBP return. A great way to start (or finish) your journey.
Cheers!

a "futuristic" seems to be an undertone for this photograph

you seem to be zomming in on everything but the train

A fabulous picture - your use of colours and blur really makes the train stand out. There is a feeling of movement even though the train is standing still. Maybe a bit too much PP for TrekEarth, but what the hell - it's a great image.

Great shot, I like the purple tint here and the side angle, very interesting indeed, however it is a little over exposed at the back though

This one is just as nice, the difference is it has out of space feel to it, did the aliens come here do get us, there is a sense of movement, or even panic if you will, feel that the overexposure in the back works very well here, allowing us to guess what's there.
Well done.

Hi Dan, I am amazed by the special effects in your photo. I think I need to learn some tips on this technique. It looks cool. To me, it looks a combination of impresionist, abstract, and SciFi painting.
An excellent composition.

A great shot with a great futuristic look to it, the shiny reflections, the feeling of speed, and the color tint all makes for a nice viewing.

Hi Dan :)
Like in your previous shot (Travel the Underground) the motion effect give a great dynamic to the shot, and the tilted scene increases again this feeling. The tunnel was also the best way to play with the depth and perspectives. Well done, Dan. The result is great here.

Hi Dan,
Nice sci-fi shot due to the futuristic train, angle and colors, seems people are boarding there for teleportation to paddington. It's also fun to see the ticket to/from London costs more tah the flight there with easyjet & Co. !!!
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Super tonality and postpro work on this to illustrate the futurism. The chrome and the blues complement each other wonderfully. The zooming effect is most appropriate. And a nice note too.
To digress from the photo iself, you present this steel monster in a manner that makes me wonder if we are already living in a sci-fi world. Technology sneaks up on you without your knowing and what was sci-fi material yesterday becomes a reality, nay a necessity today.

That seems rather expensive!! Its almost £1 a minute! Still probably cheaper than a taxi!
Very nice capture here Dan, I like the PP you have done it enhances the "futurism" of the photo if thats a word!
Im going to ask how you got the train in focus and still and the background "at speed", but then Im going to read yoru other critiques and replies, so if you have already answered that i will find it : )
Well done

This picture depicts our future. Speed at whcih we are going also. The composition is very interesting with the slight tilt and the signs of motion adds a lot as well. Well done.

I usually don´t like it when people play around with photoshop extensively - but this result is fantastic. I would not even know to begin with how you achieved it. But it is great - good tones - sharpness and great effect of acceleration.
