Photographer’s Note
Tiddesley Woods near Pershore is an area of ancient woodland and coppice... Coppicing creates a forest of thin upright stems and allows a greater diversity of ground flora. It was a grey, drab day, and I tried to preserve a sense of this, and maybe a sense of gloom, in the shot rather than up the contrast too much.

So simple and yet so captivating. If only there was something more white in the foreground to give that extra contrast, but then again, it would loose that gloominess and emptiness you filled in so well.

Good monochromatic shot Will.
Poetic, indeed... but I would say that it also has a pleasant idyllic atmosphere.
Well done.
