Spring in Guessgate Wood near Steyning in West Sussex, England, with the bluebells in full bloom, and carpeting the woodland floor. The sun playing with light and shade to make a fascinating mix of blue and green tones.

This is a fine spring postcard. The play of sun and shadow is very attractive adding nice contrast throughout. The colors are great as is the photo's sharpness.

This is a great picture with fantastic color composition. I like the diferent tones of violets and how the upper half is a little more warm and the the other half a little more cold. Very nice contrast too.. TFS

it is notoriously difficult to reproduce the colour of bluebells but you have done a cracking job in this nicely composed shot.
The dappled sunlight on the trees contributes a nice touch.
All the best Les.

I doubt I am the first to say that in the voice of the hunchback :) Beautiful scene, the colors so vibrant and a scene I have such appreciation for when I see it in your gallery. I tried my own hand at this earlier in the year, and came nothing close to the impressive wads of bluebells you have managed to find. (I am guessing wad is the collective term for bluebells). As always, incredible light, perfect definition and a magical scene.
Thanks as always

Tu avais fait des réserves photographiques de ce superbe endroit! Un cadrage 50/50 intéressant et toujours cette belle lumière et ce magnifique tapis de fleurs.

An amazing sight Brian and one that I will never tire of. Bluebells are so beautiful I think; not too showy and rather shy hidden away in a woodland setting, their colours are my absolute favourite. In this crazy world that we live in am image like this calms the soul. Thank you!

A spectacular and beautiful image, love the floral carpet, these bells blue, is a plant that I know, but this is spectacular profusion, great contrast to the trunks of large trees.
Great management of brightness, sharpness is also perfect for enjoying the details.
Very well seen and well taken.
Have a good weekend.

I might have brightened the shadowed fg a little but the sunlit bg is great. The carpet of blue flowers contrasts well against the yellow green trees in the light. Good sharpness and amazing repetition of the flowers. Tfs!

I would never tire of seeing these amazing flowers. Your composition is top-notch and the way the light has played on the flowers and illuminated them is really quite exquisite. I also like the golden light on the tree trunks in the BG. That dappled light really creates a magical atmosphere. Simply stunning.
Have a great day and thanks so much for your kind words about the Reef.
