Just a few steps around the corner from my last picture, and just behind the Buxton Opera House itself, is the Pavilion Arts Centre and the Octagon Hall auditorium. Just as I was about to take a photograph, this pretty and brightly dressed young lady photographer appeared in the frame so I just had to include her in my shot. Could she perhaps be a new recruit for TrekEarth?
Another picture from a wonderful few days in Derbyshire with a group of TE friends - just a pity that this was about the only hour or two of sunshine - though we were determined that the almost constant rain didn't dampen our spirits or camaraderie!
You can see a larger version of this photograph on "beta" TE here.

I remember it well.
Had it been Claude, he would have been surreptitiously photographing the old couple!
You have used the photographer well, placing her strongly in the f/g and creating a nice angle, via her camera, to the Pavilion.
The light is glorious and has given interesting shaded and sunlit areas. You have managed to get some special features of the building with its ornate metal work and lamps.
Have a lovely day,

Hi John, I like this good picture of this interesting composition with the new TE recruit. Very well composed and captured in this interesting image, with good sharpness, depth, good light, color and quality. Great job well done, congratulations my friend. Thanks for sharing this interesting work.
Good afternoon and happy week.
Best wishes from southern Spain.

I seem to remember I was busy thinking about ice cream whilst you were stalking this woman as part of your recruitment drive for TE.
Not only is she colourful and usefully in your FG she also adds scale relative to the building but then you know all that.
I also remember that shortly after this she attempted some "self-timer" shots and got some kind of vehicle shooting past ruining her shot!

hello John ,
really a good composition , with three strong elements : the beautiful house on the right , the big green trees on the left , and the woman , in a perfect attitude in the FG . perfectly framed and exposed .

une bien jolie composition sous une belle lumière malgré le temps peu clément.

A nice daily life picture with these young lady if photographer.
These picture is very well taken, with high quality made.
You chose a nice angle with the long street and the nice green trees.
Composition and presentation make these picture attractive.
Very well done, TFS.

Superb composition here with the lady looking through, or should I say at her camera towards the building. Without her there would be too much space on the gravel path. Lovely bright colours, sharpness and exposure. Although apparently sunny I see those grey clouds forming!
Best wishes, Ann

Hi John, It was a rather dream atmosphere on TE, but now the people returned from nearer or farther trips and meetings and there are many new photos. Nice view of this lady photographer in a hat. Beautiful picture.
I am very excited as I will meet Gert tomorrow (and aftertommor my school mates after half a century :)). Hurrah!!
Warm regrads Malgo

lovely shot with the lady adding the atmosphere we all love... taking the beauty into the pictures to take along forever.
I like the decorative lamps and the pro quality of the shot.

well, at the rate of current conditions, I think we need all the new TE members we can get!
Seems like there are fewer and fewer posts day by day.
the lady here has an HDR type of look and feel, was that your post processing? you know i'm going to like it, so its certainly not a negative comment.
whats best about the shot is the large fg open space with all those brown tones - very nice! It sort of welcomes the visitor to the photo if you know what i mean.
I also like how the entire frame is full, lots of subjects covering the scene.
another fine shot, and good on you to take advantage of the small window of good weather!
have a great day

So you've noticed this woman taking pictures around Buxton's opera: her cloth were so colorfull and attracting, and you've taken her working under a bright SUNSHINE!
I propose you a WS of tis lady, having found a "tripod" for another snapshot!
