Good Morning Everyone,
Spring in England is a delight of yellows and lilacs but mainly yellows. Daffodils take precedence.
My walk through the village confirmed this impression.
Here you can see the tiny gardens of these old cottages just brimming with colour. How could Wordsworth's poem 'Daffodils' not come to mind. You will see this profusion of spring colour repeated all over the area. There are daffodils in gardens, in hedgerows, in fields and growing by river banks.
In this country there are Daffodil Societies and even a book called 'The Daffodil Mystery'. This flower certainly has impact!
Have a great day,

Quelles jolies fleurs.Le nom français est jonquilles. Elles signifient le printemps ainsi que la lutte contre le cancer. C'est très plaisant de les voir au naturel tandis qu'elles embellissent ces devantures de superbe manière.

another lovely intimate photograph. The tight framing which shows the beautiful daffodils along a diagonal. The colours are natural and the sharpness excellent. The textures of the stone fences and sidewalk displayed with excellent clarity. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

The strong diagonal across the frame from bottom right to top left adds dynamism and diminishing linear perspective. Good to see the bright yellow daffodils are a long bleak winter. Excellent sharpness and a pleasant partially diffused light yet still with good textural and tonal details. Have a nice weekend!

This is a bit "daffed" isn't it? Imagine what it must be like in Wales with it being their national flower and all? Oh... I imagine the sheep will have eaten them all by now though!
Nicely composed with great lines and angles and of course the beautiful colour yellow.

There really is nothing like an English garden in Spring. The lilacs and daffodils make a formidable team, and these little gardens are so tastefully and immaculately kept. Wonderful daily life shot, you are blessed to live in a place like this.

This is a charming spring photo. Daffodils are also the first flowers blooming here in NYC; next will be the tulips. :-) I get a sense of quaintness from this view, and i like all of the stones and wood details. Happy spring! :-)

Being in the desert, we don't get much when it comes to a change of seasons, and subsequently there's not much in the way of color variation either!? Oh well, that's the price we pay I suppose for having such nice winters. :) So, with that in mind, it's always a treat to see the bright colors and fresh atmosphere that exists elsewhere...which you've detailed quite pleasantly with this relatively simple scene.
Love the angle of this composition, the diagonal makes an impact on the visual, and it also makes for a strong perspective while taking us from front to back. Who would have ever thought something so small and unassuming would make for such a delightful association with the Spring season...just those little 'ol daffodils. :) Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Take good care.

Your composition is good, allowing me to imagine walking there with you in an attractive English village with pretty gardens. Daffs are so uplifting aren't they?, especially after a winter of so much rain.

pleasant spring image here. Very nice flowers near by facades of houses. Good presentation. I like it.
Have a nice evening.

I have to be honest, i don't really seek out these types of scenes myself but there was something about yours that drew my attention to it.
maybe is the door? maybe its the hint of warmer weather to come? I guess there's that charm and delightful nature to it, it comes across well.
enjoy your day
