Good Morning Everyone,
My photograph shows the cliff edges on the north coast of Anglesey. These sheer cliff faces make great habits for large colonies of sea birds; the cliffs offer protection, the sea offers food.
Just peeping over the cliff, you will see the South Stacks Tower an observation tower for the RSPB. You can not only see sea birds from this spot but, also, seals, dolphins, hawks and heath loving birds. Here is a fine website that you can investigate to find out all about what is on offer at South Stacks.
What I also loved about this site was the view into the distance, where the mountains of Snowdonia rise through the mist, like a view of Mordor in the 'Lord of the Rings'.
Have a great week, Bev :-)

lovely shot of the coastline of Anglesey, never realised it was so sheer in places and reminds me a bit of Cornwall. Real sense of depth and height here and captured beautifully. Inspires me to visit this little Welsh island.
Have a good week - B.

A terrific view of the cliffs and beyond. Your perspective allows me to imagine the layout in a mental map view. To think that I came as close to here as Barmouth just beyond Snowdonia. (The weather prevented us from reaching Snowdonia.) I Like the way that you have filled the image across the diagonal in the foreground, placed South Stacks Tower in the mid-ground while including Snowdonia in the distance. Nice sky. Great shot.

I have recently been watching Gryff Rees Jones's series on Wales. He visited Anglesey in search of the puffin, a fascinating bird to look at. I wonder if you saw any? This is a very pleasant well framed composition. The nearby cliffs guide the viewer toward the observation tower and onto the far coastline. The lighting is very appealing and the colours natural and attractive. Superb rendering of the textural detail in the rock face.

the cliffs in UK can be absolutely stunning. One can wander along for hours and there will always be something to stop by and admire.
I like how the white lighthouse seems to be almost hanging on the rock and looks very vulnerable compared to the whole rough scenery. The vertical rock frames the picture nicely and perfect DOF allows to see some island on the horizon.
Very pretty colors and good sharpness
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Quel beau et dangereux point de vue sur cette tour qui s'accroche aux flancs de la falaise. Le point de vue est en ligne directe et passe au dessus de plusieurs obstacles. Le cadrage vertical est excellent et la lumière parfaitement gérée.

I can see Mordor too! Although poor old Frodo didnt have a landscape as beautiful as this to cross before he got there. This is a brilliant capture of the cliffs, and especially so that I get a sense of dizziness as I look at this image, so its definitely captured the essence of the height of the place. I love that little white castellated building too. is that somebodies home? Would be some place to live! For some reason though, I am thinking its more likely a cafe or giftshop. The colors are beautiful in this and the wispy clouds in the sky add a real touch of magic.
All the best

A great chosen perspective, depth along the rocky shores and sided by the mighty cliff, Becerly.
Nature offers here a magnificent rugged terrain, and you managed fine clear shot on the edge of a slope. Intriguing place and impressive.

It's years since I visited Anglesey Bev so your shot is a nice reminder of the island. The cliffs are wonderfully rugged and it's easy to see why the area is popular with seabirds. Your shot is attractively composed with good detail and interest, I especially like the far distant glimpse of Snowdonia as it gives the shot great depth and for me helps me understand your orientation. Warm regards Rosemary

A beautifully composed shot of this amazing rugged seashore with a good sense of perspective and a fine light that brings out the textures and shapes of the rock as well as the vegetation. The vertical format is suitable here as it emphasizes the height of the cliffs. The cloudy sky gives good balance to this picture. Lovely natural colours and detail. Well done.

This looks like a very dramatic landscape. I get the impression that this is quite a dangerous place for taking pictures. But you took a very good photo here and I also like your interesting note.

A wonderful view of this desolate coastal landscape with its impressive cliffs.
The vertical format is an excellent choice to present it.
I like the cloud lines in the sky and the view of that mountain that rises up on the horizon.
Best regards, Paul

Looks austere, but at the same time is so captivating and picturesque for us.
I like your choice of vertical format, which emphasizes well the beauty and the height of these cliffs.
Have a nice day

did you say dolphins? really? for some reason when i think of dolphins I think of warmer climates...
these are the scenes i want to see for myself one day, just rent a car and get the heck out of the cities :)
reminds me of home, back in Newfoundland in Eastern Canada.
rugged, craggy, rocky, lots of height, lots of wind, lots of danger too.
enjoy you day
