Came across this gorgeous café which had been designed to represent what the place would have looked like the the fifty's. It is in the East end of London near Brick lane.
So with a few tweak's here we have it.

A great capture of this animated scene so full of interest. The sepia effect suits the mood perfectly and is expertly presented with a fine range of tones and excellent clarity. I keep hearing about Brick Lane and have seen it on the television but have never actually visited. Looks a lively place with plenty to keep the photographer satisfied.

le N&B donne à cette photo un petit air années 50. Une image pleine de vie éclairée par une belle lumière.

Authentic-looking fifties image, if we don't look too closely at the clothes people are wearing! The sepia toning is not too strong, and manages to look convincingly old-fashioned. I like the activity, and sense of life on the go.

Wonderful idea nicely executed. Most interesting is, the dresses of the pedestrians matched perfectly with your color tone... as if clipped from an old movie.
Excellent presentation. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Iain, I like such photos with nostalgic atmosphere, enhanced by b&w or sepia treatment. Fine gallery of funny expressions. Nice shot.
Enjoy your weekend, we have finally winter with minus 18 deg. MAlgo

You have captured this crowded street coffee shop scene from excellent perspective in superb light. Monochrome sepia conversion works very well here.
Wish you a very nice weekend.

Hello Iain - generally speaking, I am not a huge fan of sepia toning but in this instance it conveys the mood of the facade given its 1950's look. I like the DL scene as it has plenty of interesting detail. Wouldn't it be nice if the items on the menu also reflected the 1950 prices?
Have a good weekend Rosemary

I love the sepia effect and the activity outside this cafe. Only the clothes give the game away! I have to admit to not knowing this area of London but your photos entice me there. This is a lovely quality image - very well done.
Kind Regards, Ann
p.s. really enjoying your return to TE

Good afternoon Iain,
A contemporary scene with a texture of older times.
Fine shot as far as technique, strong light justified the sepia tones.
