A sky full of more rain over the flooded fields at Pulborough in West Sussex, England. Here the River Arun has burst it banks and the only winners are the flocks of Canada geese that have made this new lake their winter home.

Good Morning Brian,
When will it stop!!
Having said that, your photograph looks like something from one of our well known landscape painters. It has an undeniable beauty, incongruent with the destruction that has been caused.
I like how the colours of the sky are mirrored, to some extent, in the water, whilst the naked trees make a strong statement along their separation line.
Have a lovely day,

un endroit paisible bien mis en image, l'atmosphère est calme doté de très belles teintes, le tout dans une belle harmonie.

This image has a very pleasant balance of soft light and soft colours that give it the appearance of a painting.
A very attractive image .

I see that my better half has just had a peek at this and would agree you have caught the mood of the scene perfectly with the muddy water encircling the naked winter trees and that sky sums up the situation perfectly.
I do like the inclusion of the brambles in the FG.
Sun shine and showers we`re promised today...
All the best Les.

your composition here told the story of the atmosphere. Colours are superb, specially the sky. Great light and fine depth. The tree line in opposite bank is eye catching with its textures. Very well framed. Tfs.

Your series of photos from the river is great. By compliment to this, I commend all of them!

this is a very destructive scene and you have taken it well. I particularly like the mood it conveys that is very well felt by the viewer. Light and colors are really beautiful despite the tragedy behind the image. My compliments!

This color combination is simlar to the paintings of Dutch old masters. Beuatiful landscape, delicate and warm light, beautiful composition.

A beautiful photograph, without artifice and with natural colors.
Well framed and well done!.

I must say for me th emost amazing thing about this picture is the sky,its shapes and colors and finally the way it affect the color scheme of the whole scene.
Really delightful and it makes the scene takes on a new, more dreamy character.

Encore une très belle photo de ces champs innondés. La lumière est belle et les couleurs très agréables.

Hello Brian - The colour palette here is most unusual and although beautiful I feel a sense of disquiet and foreboding. The peacefulness of the scene belies the havoc that the torrential rains have caused. Excellent shot; finely detailed with a well-conveyed oppressive atmosphere. Warm regards Rosemary

Beautiful photo, or should I say painting? Okay work of art. Such wonderful exposure that feel give a feel of a painting than an actual photograph. Gorgeous illumination of the whole scene with warm tone even if the sky is threaten with rain.
Excellent shot with good quality and composition. My complements.

nice to see your gallery has grown after few days of my absence. I like this one especially - landscapes are decidedly my favourite theme. Lovely light and very romantic mood about the whole image. The colors are very pretty too.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend

Very good quality shot! I like the flooded fields, the cloudy sky and the colours. You captured the winter atmosphere very well and here the situation is not so different in most part of the places.
