The flooded fields at Pulborough in West Sussex, England. Here the River Arun has burst it banks and the late afternoon winter sun makes shadowy shapes of the trees trapped in the silvery waters.

great depth and attention to the details. Amazing how light the trees seem to be, their branches remind me of some kind of lace. The hills in the distance make nice background and moody sky adds to the whole composition.
I like how the colors stay in harmony with each other and how the light casts silver on the water.

Good choice of the panoramic format to emphasise the layer effect. The sky and backlit clouds are quite delightful. The silhouetted trees devoid of leaves trace fascinating intricate patterns against the flood waters. Have a pleasant and enjoyable weekend.

ottimo paesaggio dal formato ben scelto e dalla gradevole contrapposizione tra la colorazione del cielo e il bianco del terreno.
Molto ben scelto il soggetto ed elaborato in maniera molto piacevole.
Ciao e buon fine settimana

I like the pano format illustrates another area devastated by the recent rainfall.
There is a nice recession created by the rows of flooded trees and that sky is very atmospheric, perfect for the occasion.
Best wishes Les.

Hey B, you dirty dog...how are ya'? :)
This is superb use of the panoramic format, there's interest from side to side, and the layers of depth are outstanding. This is quite a mesmerizing shot, my tired 'ol eyes are having a hard time focusing on one thing at a time...but it's great, I love what this does in terms of perception.
That's some sweet color in the sky too, and works in celestial harmony with the natural green rolling hills. There, I used a heavenly term to better influence your mindset. haha I think I may have used this reference before, so pardon my repetition...but the multitude of silhouetted tree branches (reflections and all) could make for quite the rorshach test. Not to make light of the current situation, but I hope you've kept an ark handy!?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take it easy.
Cheers from the valley of the sun,
I'm afraid I'm running dry on anything humorous, I need something funny to happen...guess I'll need to leave the house. :)

Le format panoramique convient parfaitement à cette belle photo à l'atmosphère et aux couleurs très particulières.

at first I thought the winter has finally arrived in England:)The water and the way it shines here is just fabulous!I like also your choice of wide panoramic format for this scene.Works really well with this landscape. And something we know well from your previous shots-light.It´s beautiful and definitely helps you to create so lovely and peaceful mood of the scene.
Have a nice sunday
