Good Morning Everyone,
This stone cross has stood for many years overlooking the sea and the graveyard of LLanbadrig Church.
What more beautiful place could this stone cross occupy! It is a symbol of faith and a monument of dedication.
On a warm, sunny day, my husband and I roamed this beautiful area, almost selfishly isolated, soaking in its beauty.
Shh! Keep it a secret or its isolated beauty will disappear!
Have a lovely day and my good wishes for a Happy Christmas, Bev :-)

The cross does bear the mark of years that it has witnessed. Very good detailing on the cross to capture that aspect. Indeed it is a spectacular setting for this symbol of faith for so many people around the world. The cross makes great contrast with the colors in the BG.
Excellent shot with great colors and clarity. Thanks for sharing.
Wish you a Merry Christmas as well.

spectacular location indeed! You have also captured this cross in an interesting light which emphasized its rough surface. The view opening behind again is something what I would rather expect from a southern sea. I really have to visit Wales someday, your reportage is very encouraging. I just wish I could have this type of weather over there ;)
Beautiful place, I could spent there hours contemplating it.
I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas time!

This is a wonderfully simple and yet compelling and beautiful photograph which again reinforces my conviction that I really must revisit Anglesey soon. It must now be nearly 60 years since I visited this place and I also remember my father telling me that when he was a young boy, he used to walk to this place along the cliff tops from Cemaes Bay. So another visit is long overdue!
The pale worn stone of the cross stands out beautifully against a fine distant land and seascape with what looks like a distant lighthouse perfectly placed in the frame. Lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and excellent depth of field and sharpness throughout.

This old stone cross, much worn by the weather makes an excellent photographic subject and is very apposite to post at this time of year. You have composed it very with with perfect control over depth of field. Superb rendering of the textural detail under a good light. Kind regards and best wishes for the festive season to your and your loved ones.

little places like this are so special and the Welsh coast has so many to explore and in, as you say, splendid isolation. Amazing textures on this weather beaten monument and in such a beautiful setting too. Majestic imagery!

The age of this cross comes across so strongly with its weather beaten look, I guess the many years of high wind and salt air has not been kind to it. Although, in a way it has, as this weathered appearance is very appealing to view, especially in its expansive location like this. A very beautiful off center presentation against the deep background. Fantastic light too. Lovely place, and lovely share, thanks as always!
Best wishes, and happy Christmas!

This old rugged cross is well placed, with the sea as a good background. The picture is quite simple but very well composed. The angle of the light brings out all details of the textured stone surface. A beautiful scenery here.

J'aime vraiment beaucoup cette composition. La position de la croix de pierre est parfaite dans l'image et nous permet d'admirer son environnement immédiat de mer et de falaises.

Hello Beverley ,
Excellent framing of this very old stoned cross , with the beautiful sunny seascape in the BG .

Good evening Beverly,
Reading the note left me a bit envious on the isolation of this trail, and the magnificent rocky hills "falling" to sea.
Whoever mounted this cross, made sure seamen could had seen this far out to the sea. It doe's looks as an ancient stone, wind and water grined this for long time.
Fine clear shot, the place is amazing rural country.
My best greetings for the holidays,

I really like the battered beauty of the cross and your straightforward composition. It is a well balanced photo and the light falls perfectly on the cross, jjust so I can make out the vague shape of the relief that once adorned it. The view towards the sea couldn't be better, but obviously the salty and humid winds will in the long run destroy anything.
Wish you a Merry Christmas too.

beautiful shot from Wales. Wonderful cross. I was only in great orme and LLandudno in Wales, and I liked it very much.
I wish you and your loved ones very Merry Christmas, full of peace, love and joy.
Short, but I still have something to do in the kitchen :))

A meaningful and most impressive photo ... especially with regard to Christmas.
The a bit blurred background here creates a wonderful depth in the photo - nearly a 3D effect.
A Merry Christmas also to you and all around you!
Greetings from springlike and strormy Germany! I hope you weren't affected by this storm.

beauty in simplicity. Love this minimal composition with the cross, it has a superb graphical appeal. Excellent shot. Tfs.

What a great place to take your last rest! Bet the folks are dying to get into this place hehehehe. The cross seems ancient and I love how you took it using a vertical frame. You managed the strong sunlight well and the colours are lovely.
Warmest wishes and I hope you and your family have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year

It must be really isolated and beautiful! The wind has surely created nice textures on the cross! It's a very nice composition and it seems you had great weather also!
Have a great New Year!

Une belle lumière également

Happy new year dear Beverley! This stone cross looks very old, at the first sight I thought it was made of concrete, a charming coastline in its bg, excellent hues, I like the different tons of green on the picture, all the best, greetings
