Good Morning Everyone,
I love to watch birds, having lots of feeders in my garden, so that I see them regularly.
When we went to Anglesey we were very impressed with this white tower, owned by the RSPB, and a wonderful place to watch sea birds. It just couldn't be better placed! It has a couple of high-powered telescopes for visitors to search the sea and the skies and lots of books and posters, to help with identification.
Not only can you see birds but, regularly, there are seals, dolphins and porpoises to be watched. We saw seals when we were there!
As a w/s, here you will see people inside the white castle, by kind permission of 'Goodtoknowwales'.
Wishing you a lovely day, Bev :-)

What an excellent facility for the lover of nature! Would the telescopes be the type that you have to put money in, or this is a free service?
Perfectly placed is right, not only in its location, but also in the frame. I love the castellated roof to the building too, adding more interest again!
Thanks for sharing

Bonjour, chère amie Bev,
Oui, regarder et contempler les oiseaux, la mer, l'océan, la nature, s'en nourrir pleinement, quelle joie !
Jolie présentation de cette tour d'observation.
Très bonne journée.

Puts the usual bird watching haunts in the shade! Presumably it served some other function at one time? It is certainly perfectly placed in your attractively lit composition. An image composed along classical lines with appealing natural tones and very good sharpness.

one of the more sophisticated hides I have seen. What a magic place to do a little bird spotting. The feathered variety that is........with Jason posting - Ladies of the Night and JJ - Industrial Erections, I thought I had better make that clear. Looks wonderful and such a beautiful setting.
Have a great weekend - B.

This birdwatchers' nest looks to me more like a small Portuguese castle. It fits well into the photo and has a fine location on the Atlantic coast. On a sunny day like this you must have had a great time of spotting all kinds of birds. It's a sunny and pleasant photo with fine natural colours.

Le point de vue et le cadrage vertical offre une image profonde avec toute cette végétation au premier plan ainsi que la mer au loin. L'ensemble est net et jouit d'une belle lumière.

The WS you added make sense to the location of the birds-watching post, Beverly, it has a superb point of view out to the rocks and sea.
A sunny day on summer's end, nice clear day that gave fine colors to the house and its surrounding.
Best regards from a heavy storm day in Israel,

Fantastic facility for bird watchers.
It is good to see that there is so much emphasis on nature in your country. I also love watching birds and I am trilled to see this wonderful facility.
Well chosen POV to show what the view will be like from this tower. Thanks for sharing an interesting place.

An interesting note and a very interesting picture, or rather pictures! It was easy enough to find this place on the map, at these coordinates, 53.304336,-4.693132. We must have passed quite near when going by ferry from Dublin to Holyhead in 1992. We missed this place, unfortunately.
