Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

For me, the Lake District is a very special place. I really look forward to visits there and this year we visited Loweswater for the very first time.

My husband and I, went to Loweswater with friends. We stayed in a beautiful old manor house, now acting as a guest house, which was a great centre from which to explore Loweswater and Crummock Water.

When we set off in the morning, to walk the length of the lake, the weather was quite dull but as the day wore on, the day got brighter and warmer. In the late afternoon, the sun was colouring the hilltops and causing lovely reflections in the water.

The hill you see in the b/g is Lowe Fell (thank you John (tyro) for that information.)

Hope you all have a lovely day, Bev
