Previously the home of shipbuilders Harland and Wolf where famous ships like the White Star Lines Oceanic, the Britannic, the Olympic and of coarse the Titanic. Now the shipbuilding has gone after 150 years in the city. The large area that once housed this industry is now home to the Titanic Building a large modern museum to all things Titanic and a major tourist attraction in Northern Ireland.

This is a nice view of Lagan river Arthur, very clear weather and blue sky in Belfast, the titanic memorial and samson and goliath giant cranes in the bg, the Titanic ship was indeed built here, high resolution, nice colors, all the best, warm regards

Nice view of the Titanic Building in the distance. It looks like the building would lend itself well to some semi-abstract photos.

the view to the Titanic Building and the setting in which it belongs is very interesting but I think that the photo tilts a little to the left and that it would be much more attractive if it were brighter, displayed more details and let the whites stand out more in the lovely sunshine. The depth and the sharpness are superb. With all respect, I tried to make a workshop to illustrate my opinion. I haven't got much skill in such things, just wanted to see how much brighter the picture could be and what you thought about it. Well done and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

nice the panoramic view of this section of the Queen's Island with the modern building on the left to be the eye catching of it.
I like the excellent and brilliant light that enhance the vivid colours of the scene.
Have a good weekend,Danos,Danos

Aaaaaahh, now that's a shot I like a lot :) ONe of my favorite buildings on this island, and one I have still not gotten to shoot, despite passing it a few times with work. I fear that this will be a building that is difficult to shoot, but not only have you captured it perfectly well here, you have such an original composition. The icon of the H&W crane in the background I would not expect in a scene with the titanic museum, despite how close they are to each other they somehow feel like they are on far sides of the city.
The greens and blues are really striking. Do you have any other shots in your collection of the museum itself? I'd really love to see some if you do, some inspiration for when I get here myself!!
All the best

Great composition with this view of the harbor that offers several boats in the foreground, the modern buildings of the city in the background are a nice complement to the composition.
Good colorful, with this dominant blues.
Very good brightness and sharpness is also excellent.
Very well done. I love it.
All the best.

A most interesting place with wonderfully historic connections.
You have anchored the f/g with the use of the fence and the quayside, which creates a good sense of depth to the space age building, via the moored boats.
The waterline seems to have a tilt. I have done a w/s for you, explaining how to correct the tilt. I hope you like it and find it useful.
Have a great Sunday,

I see that different members have tried for the horizon a little bit for make horizontal.
This are small mistake that every photographer sometimes makes.

You chose a very well angle.
Very well done, TFS.

Old shipyards are nowadays past, business went to the far-east and a "hole" left on towns, Arthur.
Good thing about, is municipalities are taking the places and convet them into cultural and environmental areas.
Like the poroject done here.
Beautiful POV of the marina, museum and cranes - all mingle in the photo, with good clear view upon.
