Title taken from I am the Walrus by the Beatles. Yes - it's that Selfridge's building in Birmingham reflected in a window - I know - it's getting boring now! How many more shots of that building can I upload to my gallery?!
You have Brian (Timecapturer) to thank for this one. He commented on a shot of this building a long time ago now and he pointed out the reflections in the car park windows to me and I said I must go back to look again... I did and here you have it... I am the Walrus...

eggs, yolks and a surgeon? make something using these three words. a song by the beatles couldn't get them together, but well, a shot by mjw364 could :)

so glad you went back and captured this it is so effective and what a great Beatles song to accompany it. It has taken on a completely pop arty feel in this crop, with the lights making it look like the Alien eggs are about to hatch. Wonderful!
Regards - Brian.

Really well submitted title for this shot! Brilliant idea and superb execution of the reflected view. Well done as always:)

it's funny and fascinating to see these patterns become three-dimensional and take the shape of eggs:) I like very much the bluish hues and the shadows, the reflection of the moody light gives an eerie vibrance to the patterns and the golden reflections look mesmerizing -they are superbly placed, too. I also like how the straight lines frame the "scene" as if trying to restrain the vibrancy:) Very creative and playful, congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a good night,

your photo made me curious about this building,so I´ve found your older pictures of the Selfridge's building(btw.it seems to have like Gas building in Barcelona thousands faces countless opportunities for photographers).
Intresting abstract vision of the building and...really intriguing title encouraging us to discover this photo and its story.

They are the eggmen!!!
Love it, the photo and the song!
We saw the Bootleg Beatles last year and they performed the song perfectly!
The frame gives structure to the photo.
I must admit, they do look very much like strange eggs, some which have lights piercing them, trying to expose the contents.
Brian has inspired a lot od people over the years. I'm glad you took his advice.
See you soon!

This resembles 'century eggs' - the popular delicacy in Asia and exactly black in glossy colour when peeled except for the yolk. A fabulous reflected image and an excellent visualisation with all the those repeated identical shapes taken from such good viewpoint with remarkable sharpness and clarity, bits of warm light strike the eyes adding the necessary liveliness. Another fine shot and tfs, Congrats
