Following on from a previous post of strange looking fishing pots taken in Co.Dublin. This picture shows the more traditional lobster pots used by fishermen around Ireland and the UK. This photograph was taken early morning in July just before the fishermen were going out to sea to set them. The blue plastic barrels are used to store the lobsters in when they have been caught to bring them back to land.

Belle et intéressant ces pots de homards, avec leurs pièges, bonne lumière et prise parfaite en diagonale

Fishing port scenery, with typical elements of the skilled Lobster catchers, Arthur, never saw this in real.
Thecnically an excelent photojob done, only, to my humble opinion - a wider scope on view of the waterfront there, would show more elements.
Good calrity and light managed.
have a nice day,

Good Morning Arthur,
One immediately notices the fine composition, with the line of the fencing creating a good separation line between the water and the fishing items.
I love how the mini-crane on the back of the boat helps to create that sense of depth to the water.
You may find that if you automatic smart fix in PS it brightens the whole just a little and brings out more of the details of the reflections in the water.
Have a great day,

Thanks, but no thanks, I just ate!
Seriously, I like the reflections in the water along the upper edge of the photo. Is that a fishing boat hiding behind the blue barrels?
PS. Sorry I do not have a new photo today, my latest upload got confiscated by an over eager admin under the pretext of excessive postprocessing.

a very good arrangement of perspectives for an interesting picture from the fishing harbour with an intriguing graphical quality. I like the inclusion of the shady reflection at the top of the frame, it offers natural framing, balance and effective contrast. The angle of the light wasn't very favourable at the time of capture and the colours do not display their best quality but the details and textures you have captured are eloquent and interesting. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,

I know its weird, but I can see a face in the little boat, and its arm seems to be reaching out to something. A classic scene of the Lobster pots, and I know these ones well. In fact, I can almost smell that, lets say unique smell that we associate with these places :)
All the best
