Photographer's Note

This last week has been the summer of our youth, or at least, as we remember it. Sunny and hot, the air heavy with the scent of nature at it's best.

All around the farmers are busy harvesting grass for the winter months ahead, so the scent on the air locally has been enhanced by that of cut grass, just like the first lawncutting of the season, but on a grand scale.

I wandered up the lane last evening and saw this tractor at work; near terminal indecision has gripped me so I post three images for your consideration.

verb ( tedded , tedding ) [ trans. ] [often as n. ] ( tedding)
