[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sort of another in the autumn series ,A Small Copper Butterfly on a Sedum "Autumn Joy" more commonly called the Ice Plant a plant that flowers in the UK only in the Autumn. the small copper is only 28mm across.
Ajustments
open and crop to29.5 X 21 @600dpi, saturation +10 & lightness -6 ,
Select butterfly using quick mask then inverse it to protect the butterfly while using selective colour (yellow) and increasing the black +83% to darken only the leaves of the plant.
Select the orange on the wings using magic wand then increase brightness +8,
sharpen using unsharp mask 109% X 3.4px X threshold 1.
resize to72 dpi &800px

Very beautiful photo and so sharp. All the colours is magnificent, really very well.
