At sunset last night we were close to Cold Northcott Wind Farm on the exposed Davidstowe Moor.
There are 22 turbines at a hub height of 25 metres producing a yearly estimated 16 GW.h

Good Morning Leslie,
We wouldn't normally aim to have the horizon so close to the centre but, I have to admit, it works fine in this shot, especially as it would be a pity to lose that glorious sky.
A very catchy title, giving attention to both elements of your photograph, both strongly positioned.
The f/g colours are unusual but highly effective. Were they just the result of your polarizer?
Have a great day,

I am not a fan of wind farms whatever their supposed advantages. I do like this composition though. The light is quite divine and the colours a delight for the eyes. Obviously a windy day, judging by the motion in the turbine blades. Thanks for sharing.

the colours here are just amazing and the light so beautiful. Spring may be here but the nights are so cold still and the daffodils have gone on forever this year. Stunning and atmospheric imagery!

I'm envious of the opportunities you have for evening drives around the countryside Leslie. Here we have few opportunities for such a pleasurable pastime so it's nice to enjoy something of your trips albeit vicariously. Your colour palette here is gorgeous with the overall cool tones being contrasted so well by the daffodils and warm skyline. Were the daffs growing 'wild'? The composition, although not classic proportions looks good to me, the sky has lovely colour and tonal graduation. Warm regards Rosemary

Beautiful colours and composition with the turbine and these daffodils in foreground! Here we can find these flowers in the gardens, not in the fields. The turbine gives a very nice sense of movement and the the sky has beautiful tonalities. Good idea to put the flowers in foreground. Now it's a good season to go around and take a few shots:)!
