The medieval Castle at Dunluce is located on a headland that plunges into the sea on the North Antrim coast. The Castle and domestic buildings within the courtyard are dated to the 16th and 17th Century and is accessible via a bridge connecting it to the mainland.

Derek, your photo is spectacular! The wave splashed just perfectly, so it was something really worth waiting for (or not) to capture. Thanks for sharing!

The slow shutter speed has made this a very unusual image with the spiky effect that has been caused by the water shooting up the rocks. Very interesting.

Hello, a very spectacular photo of the castle and the seaside. Great sense of drama with the wave splashing upon the rocks that requires timing and patience on the part of the photographer. You managed to capture a beautifully colored sky also.
