When I looked at this amazing picture I immediately started to make more scenes of it. The total picture is a beauty. But parts of the picture are strong shots of their own. The upper half, without the rocks: wonderful. The lower part, only the rocks: beautiful. Only the upper part even without the see: amazing. And so on. You can try it in a workshop.
Great picture.

This is a "Deluxe" image. The scene, light, textures, timing and composition make a favourite. Thanks for sharing..

OK, so now I'm getting really confused..
I thought I just critiqued this photo, but then noticed I hadnt.
And of course its virtually the same as Geordies contribution today. Same view, taken on almost the same day, same perspective, even the same rocks... even the same approach.
Are you experiencing the vulcan mind meld, or are you 2 guys trying to be as similar as possible?
I love the photos, though you may as well read my critique of this

Very nice presentation Ken, the long exposure works well here, nice effect on the water, nice elements with the rock in the foreground and lighthouse far away and well positioned, good work.

Hey, what a coincidence! About 24 hrs later from nearly the same point! As usual, I like your way presenting water by using a slow-goin shutter. Amazing colours in clear air, amazing POV and DOF. Well done Ken, using the grad. ND getting some more structures to the foreground. TFS.

This picture impresses me very much. I feel like I could stay there looking at the sun and waters for hours. I love the sutle feeling that the waters are moving for real. Just love this, bottom line!
