A common site on just about any beach in the UK this particular dog and owner were on the beach in St.Mawes Cornwall and it was a perishing cold day too.I rushed back to the pub and warmth and left them to it.

Nice image: memories of walking our last dog, as we've got similar stretches of coastline where we live. Mind you, she was a Border Collie and therefore mostly black: this one is going to get in a hell of a state shortly! I like the composition, and although you don't say so, it appears that you've used cropping to get the frame you want. I thoroughly approve of the choice of b/w; not fully convinced about the filter however. I'm guessing you retired to the Victory Inn. I've sailed from St Mawes for the past 4 or 5 seasons in a friend's Folkboat, so know the area quite well.
