Photographer's Note
The Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque, was built in 1997 and was a gift from King Fahad Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, for the seven percent of Muslims (2000 people) living in Gibraltar. the Mosque complex also has a school, a library, and a conference room.
The mosque is situated at Europa Point, the southernmost point of Gibraltar, which is popularly called Gib or The Rock , is a British territory at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, and which corresponds to a small peninsula with a narrow land border with Spain to the North, being a headland militarily strategic for Britain at the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea, that separates Africa from Europe.
The name Gibraltar is derived from the Arabic jabal al-Tariq expression that means mountain of Tarique "
