Isle of Arran is said to be a miniature Scotland. Having been there, I can easily agree. Sea, mountains, glens, castles and even a distillery! This picture was taken in Blackwaterfoot on the Western coast in June, 2011. I hope you like it.

I think this is a wonderful photo, the presence of the little girl has transformed the scene to something else.very impressive.

The pale colours and remarkable light, plus of course the fine composition of the girl watching the sea, make this a very attractive picture. It's quite plain, but there is a gentleness to the composition that I like. The colours support each other very well. Regards,

What a lovely scene, but how much better that you have included that lovely foreground interest of a pretty little girl! Without her, the picture would not be nearly so interesting. Is she your daughter?
The little girl in her bright coloured clothes is in exactly the right position in the frame and we automatically follow her line of sight and look to the left into the distance - just where she is looking.
The lighting is lovely and the exposure, colours and details are superb.
P.S. Just one little thing. Remember that you can put pictures here up to 800 pixels in height or width - this one is only 600 x 400 pixels and I think it would look much better if it were a little bigger!
