A view across the old bridge that spans the Arun River and entrance to the town of Arundel in West Sussex, England. The large castle dominates the skyline and overlooks the market town, which is also famous for its cathedral.

You found a very nice place with a lovely subject as this castle.
I like it the nice spring flowers in foreground.

I turned my back for hardly a week and you had enough time to pile up a whole bunch of good ones !
Just like the present one, even if I wonder for a very slight cyan cast in it (?)

Good color & saturation & the fg path adds great lead in lines & linear perspective. Excellent sharpness & nice repetition of the cylindrical stone towers of the bg castle. Tfs!

Good evening Brian,
The magnificent view taken well, as vivid colors prevails.
The place looks fabulous, and the old castle prominently stand above town's houses.
One comment though: I'd take this POV a 3m or 4m forward, to avoid the shaded area in FG, inspite the beautiful flowers you managed to include.

Hello Brian,

First of all, thank you for adding me to your favourites - an honour indeed!

This is a restful and endearing scene in which I must confess that I might not have noticed the litterbin had you not pointed it out in your note! But I would have noticed the lamppost, the castle, the lovely red roof and Tudor-style walls, the beautiful clear blue sky and the colourful flowers. And I would have noticed the lovely lighting on the pavement and the castle and the strong lead-in line of the wall on the right.

And, of course, I would have noticed also the lovely vibrant colours, the perfect exposure and the stunning detail and sharpness.

Good Morning Brian,

A fine pov where the viewer, in reality and symbolically, travels from the shade into the light, where the wonders of Arundel Castle are revealed in a beautiful light, against a blue sky. It is just amazing to have such lovely weather so early in the year for the light is a photographer's dream!
Your dof is perfect for capturing so much interesting detail.

lumières et couleurs parfaites, bien saturées. Les couleurs sont ici la clé du pouvoir de séduction de cette photo. Une vue bien cadrée où sont redressées les éventuelles distorsions de perspective.
