Moon, Venus & Jupiter Conjunction, a photo from Isle of Wight, England

Photographer's Note

I had planned to take this photo a night before because Jupiter, Venus, and the Moon where in a diagonal line, but it ended up being cloudy all day and night so i decided to try again the next evening.
The position of the planets and the moon didn't look quite as good as they would have done the night before, but i still think it looks quite interesting.

I used an ND4 Graduated filter.

C'est splendide! La conjonction Lune-planètes est déjà très belle et tu y ajoutes cette fantastique composition aux couleurs de rêve.Une véritable merveille qui ravit le modeste amateur d'astronomie que je suis. As-tu pris une seule ou plusieurs photos?

Very nicely done, Jamie. those filters work a treat sometimes. I saw this phenomenon the other night and was dying to shoot it, then the clouds moved in for the night and that was it.The tree silhouettes and varying colors of sunset make this one special. Very crisp and well defined, and you did not overexpose the moon and planets.
