Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

Sometimes, a wait can make all the difference.

I had been eager to go for a walk but the weather was very wet and grey, certainly not the sort of light to inspire a walker or a photographer, so I waited.

Later in the day, the clouds parted and the sun emerged - the wait had been rewarded.

The shot shows a path beside a reservoir, about six miles from my home. The edging, drystone wall is typical of the area; they are used to mark field boundaries.

The details of the path give some indication of the volume of water that descended earlier on, and provided quite a nice reflection.

Thank you for sharing my locality, Bev :-)
