'Turning heads', a photo from Northamptonshire, England

Photographer's Note

Last in a short series of pictures taken in March 1993 at a classic racing car show held at Silverstone motor racing circuit, home of the British Formula One Grand Prix.

All were shot on slide film, probably Kodak Ectachrome. They have since been scanned and digitised using Photoshop.

For those who are interested, here is a link to the Wikipedia article on the Silverstone circuit, which came into use after the Second World War.

Nice series on the old cars race, with this a fabulous shot.
Just the helmet is not in accordance with the time era's... ha ha ( my humor only), tied-up headlights also...

Ce type de concentration de voitures anciennes attirent généralement beaucoup pour le public, je suppose qu'ils semblent fascinants ... mais ne pense pas qu'ils aiment faire un long voyage en eux, pour le confort et lentement.
Bonne perspective et des couleurs. Une image très dynamique.

The crowd is framing well the racing car. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the racing car. The light is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.
