Photographer's Note

St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall, Orkney.

It was built for the bishops of Orkney. Its construction commenced in 1137 and it was added to over the next three hundred years. There are two style: Romanesque when building was begun,and Gothic style from 14th century when lower front was joined to the rest of the building by pointed arches.
