Peace and joy to all my Trek Earth friends.
A 'white Christmas' is a rare event in the British Isles, and even rarer by the sea.

A Merry Christmas to you too! It looks quite cold here and indeed beautiful with the snow. The diagonal wall point to the red car, the eye-catcher in the picture.
Greetings from Oslo, where we are celebrating Christmas this year. Not so much snow here but very cold, minus 15 today!

Europe is experiencing a lot of snow this year! It is astonishing - we saw it in the news.
And your picture is very representative and impressive - the image gives us the "mood" of being inside, because of the weather, looking through the window, indeed.
Have a Happy Holiday Season!

Sneg donese deci radost ali i porbleme u saobracaju svima ...
Na televiziji vidim da je bilo blokade u saobracaju od velikog snega.
Dobar trenutak snimka i kompozicija.
Dobar rad i prikaz mesta sa snegom, lepa fotografija.
Prijatan dan sa lepim vremenom.
Storms bring joy to children and porbleme traffic all ...
On TV, I see that it was blocking the traffic of a large snow.
A good time recording and composition.
Good work and display areas with snow, beautiful photos.
Nice day with beautiful weather.
All the best.

the blue/white here gives a very good impression of the cold and why you wisely stayed indoors to take this. The lit lamps and the flar atop the lifeboat station give this a characterful feel. The touches of red are a good contrast to the cool tones.

You live in a lovely area. Is that the sea in the distance, and what time of day did you take the photo.
Warm regards (pun unintended).

Good evening Winifred,
The blurred effect makes a subdued atmosphere.
Everything is frozen, people are not up and about yet, if they ever intended to go out at all. I like the clean coat of snow, and the peaceful feeling of the picture.
I hope winter is becoming more clement up there.
PS. I enjoyed reading your Christmas newsy letter. Sorry, I didn't have time to reply , with a full house , over the festive season, and then the preparations to fly to Costa Rica on Jan 5th.
