Photographer’s Note

A rainy evening in Darlington in the North East of England, it's mid week, it's just stopped raining (and about to start again) and no-one is about. I perch my little compact on the car window and take a long exposure. I've desaturated it to take away nearly all the colour but leave a trace of warmth. I'm trying to capture the feel of the place.

I think its been captured well here
you can just about feel the wetness on the cobbles
Potential area for improvement. The lighting is over exposed, as you say long exposure would have caused this.
Maybe a wee bit of cloning out would help draw the eye away from them
