Photographer’s Note
11.45 a.m. - When I last visited Paris I started my trek from Lagny Sur Marne on the outskirt of Paris. So when I visited London last August I also did the same as I was staying in Wolverton, Burkinghamshire about 60 miles north-west of London. I was driven around the area and we stopped by Stony Stratford to really get the feel of a small English town which is really different from what we have back home in Malaysia.
Stony Stratford is a busy market town and used to serve as a resting place and exchange point during the early stage coach days, which explains the many pubs and restaurant which attract visitors. It is situated at the north-west corner of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Its importance declined when the London to Burmingham Railway was opened at Wolverton in 1838. It was only after the arrival of motorcars and its position along the original A5 road that visitors started to visit this town again.. For music lovers the second week of June would be a great time to visit as there will be folk music, folk rock and electric taste at the “Folk on the Green” festival. (Wikipedia)
Here is a shot of a pub along the High Street of Stony Stratford.

Hi Aloysius.
I found your note interesting, and the photo is nicely taken and presented. I like the sky very much, and the rich but not over-saturated colours. I probably would have spent an hour or so trying to clone out the lamp in the middle of the picture - it would be a bit difficult but not impossible. Just one other suggestion - there is a person behind the flower arrangement on the left - I think the picture would have been a little more interesting if you had waited for her to move a bit further forward into clear view. I've never heard of Stony Stratford, but I like the look of this pub!
Regards,
Andrew

Hello Aloysius,
Lovely architecture in the house that seems to host a pub..!
The smalltown atmosphere is well captured and presented in a pleasant composition, with the flower arrangement as foreground and creating depth...
Fine details, good colours!
Greetings,
Pablo -
