Photographer’s Note

Another photo I took on our walk along the Southwest Coast Path from Mevagissey to Gorran Haven. You can see Gorran Haven if you peer through the wildflower curtain, but this shot is for the flowers. For a more conventional view of Gorran Haven have a look in the WS.

With its origins in the 13th century, Gorran Haven is a picturesque fishing village set into a secluded cove on Cornwall‘s south coast. It is popular with families for its two sandy beaches and safe water for swimming.

I put the map coordinates in for Gorran Haven itself as I haven't much of a clue where I was standing. Obviously it was just along the coast. If you move the map around you will find Mevagissey where we started walking and also Chapel Point of my previous post. (link above) A couple of people have asked about the map link. It's on the right of the note with the 'Photo information' in case you haven't found it yet.

It's the first post of Gorran Haven on TE
