Photographer’s Note
This time it is Rum, the island in the western isles of Scotland, not the stuff out of a bottle.
We did a complete circumnavigation of the island, sailing out of Arisaig. We also sailed past or visited Eigg, Muck, Canna, Heyskeir, Skye and Soay - more photos later.
The weather was very dramatic at times and total sunshine at others, but in that area it always looks very dramatic.
No post processing, except for straightening the shot (it's hard getting a proper horizon on such a moving platform as a sailing boat!)

hello Alastair
the water is wonderful;,I loooooove it!The lonely boat appearing in black silhouette is a nice element, mayve it would have been better to place it on the left, and the clowdy sky is superb!

Pascale

Hi Alistair,
I like the overall effect you got here. Very romantic and kinda impressionist...
Cheers,
Kris
