Another part of the mirage in Scottish Mirage, this time on the mainland of Fife.
This is an excellent example of a looming Superior Mirage. This was taken with the zoom full out Fife at this point must be more than 15 miles away.
I've rotated it to straighten the horizon and cropped the excess whit bits out.
We do get these mirages here throughout the year and it's interesting to watch them change in front of your eyes, or as you walk along.
I have deliberately left in the sandy beach for perspective.
