Hello David -

Again, another outstanding sunset and sea image. I am not sure I like the composition of this image though. The boulders and the foreground seem to dominate and not really enhance. That is just my opinion. The exposure is spot on, with excellent DOF and sharpness. Well done!

Hi Dave,

Great detail and DOF in this shot, the colours in the sky are amazing. I know what you mean about shooting different locations, living near the beach I'm always drawn there myself.

I have to say though, I never tire of your Heritage Coast shots as they are all first class.

Lovely shot David - did you use a GND filter to get the relatively bright exposure in the foreground but stop the sky blowing out? In any case, very well done - thanks for sharing it.

I like especially the smooth stones. Great lit up by the low Sun. Nice colours.

Beautifully controlled contrast between hot and cold tones, heavy wet boulders and a light, feathery sky. Love it....! Paul

Lovely smooth textures of the stones, almost feels like slippery. A classic way to shoot such locations, very well executed.
