Glorious sunset David, the light is wonderful and the detail and the texture of the sand is amazing. Composition and clarity is excellent and I like the way you have managed to retain some detail in the pools rather than bleaching them out, which could easily have happened. Shows your exposure was spot-on too. Well done. Best wishes, Vicky

Hello David -

Very nice in deed! The warm light really makes this image. There is a nice sky reflection in the water in the foreground. The sidelight brings out the patterns made by the retreating tide in the sand and mud. Excellent exposure, DOF, and sharpness. Well done!

great beach shot Dave ,i can see how strong that sun is on the right just before sunset .It looks very like the dingle penninsular in ireland .Good foreground and soft colours make this a lovely relaxing view

Good morning David,
This shot is all about lighting and textures. The varying designs in the sand, the little rivulets of escaping water from the pool, the black rocks, all combine to produce a fascinating scene in the extended foreground, with superb depth allowing enjoyment of the more distant landscape. I like your proportions here. Very effective work. First rate. Have a fine weekend.

Hi David,
Excellent shot with beautiful lighting. The sharpness also perfect - I like it very much! I didn't beleive that the sand of the beach can be wonderful like this..
