Photographer’s Note
This used to be the busiest sea port in the World with coal exports from the Welsh Valleys. Its a lot quieter these days.
Tech note: Test shot to evaluate the D50 taken from my apartment, 5am. I am really impressed with this Nikon. I wont be looking for another camera for a long time.

Hello Jef
Yes, you can be impressed.
I have the D70 and if once I will upgrade then only to the D200.
Pic is fine. Lights also too.
Cheers

Nice symmetry in the vertical direction. The docks make a nice band of man made constructions, and a nice set of skewed squares forming nice graphical shapes.

Nice shot jeff, ive recently bought the D50 and cant say a bad word about it, its a cracking camera with everything ive needed so far! Just looking at your lens, 50-500mm - sounds like a great purchase, ive not seen one with such a range before!
