Photographer’s Note
Another trip to my favourite local beach. The tide was coming in so this was the best I could do, besides getting my gear wet.

Dude, this is awesome. Not only is it very painterly, but the long shutter speed evokes a since of mystery. Good show!

This is beautiful, Jeff. You really captured the weight and texture of the stones, like I could reach into the photo and touch the wetness. I love how the extreme clarity and definition of the foreground fades into an ambiguous mist, and how the strangely sallow sky compliments the hue of the stones.
Very well composed and presented.

As others have mentioned Jeff, the shot is awesome.
Great amount of detail, the shine of the rocks is great with the cloudy water effect from the long exposure. The only suggestion is to ensure the horizon is level in shots like this as it's quite noticeable.
Cheers Jeff,

Hello Jeff,
Fantastic shot! I love the wet foreground rocks and how the mist is coming off the rocks. The view over the water is amazing and the lighting here is stunning! Great composition with beautiful details. Excellent work, Jeff!

Ciao! How could I miss such a photograph??
First, the misty seashore looks like a gift from heaven...
Than, those wet pebbles reflexing low light, as pearls...
At a first glance it looked like a mountain's view: the rocks on the left, disappearing in the mist, seemed a mountain range; and the mist, a sea of clouds.
Bravissimo!! Long live Wales!!

Hey Jeff, i dig these kind of slippery looking smoothened pebbles, the way they reflect soft light when wet is just beautiful, and the misty long exposure works to great effect here, good stuff, jez
