Breaking the Law,
Talybont, Wales, UK

This came about as a result of a series of shots, recently posted, which feature these woods and falls.

This shot began more conventionally, but I was unhappy with the composition - forced, due to positional restrictions. (I'll put it in the workshop).

This is a result of attempt to recompose the shot, through cropping, without regard for the reality of anything in the frame. That is, via colour, shape and pleasure!

Regards
Colin

Hi Colin,
Interesting capture. Very nice graphical effect. Nice warm colors and a capture which creates many questions in my mind.
Nice trial.

Hi Colin.
I like it,I like this one more than WS,and I find this picture very strength, good light in light zones and great contrast. The water falling..,well,banging in this version,is one of the things that I like more in your shot,I can see the moss in the wood stick...sincerely congratulations.
Regards,
Sonsoles.

Very interesting! I like the idea of this, taking the waterfall and turning it on it's side, giving us an unconventional and fascinating shot. This shows us a different way to look at things, and I like photos that change our perception. Great work!

I much like this image Colin, compliments, for its composition but over all for the big force that it convey, it's hard to find a collocation in art for this view, but I much like it, well done.
Ciao
Vinicio

I like it, it became almost an abstraction. Love the light and compositional elements.
