Photographer’s Note
Continental Drift
River Usk, Llangynidr, Powys, UK
More musings and reflections on the way things do - or do not - fit together, depending on your point of view, your language, culture, and the on-going accumulation of questions and answers leading on, one to the next, until the erroneous assumptions of the first step have long since been forgotten.
Is this learning about the earth? Would the precise weight and dimensions of these rocks help? The exact literage of visible water? The names and dates of birth of all those who have passed this way?
Regards

Rocks, water and more rocks...plus trees...you're true to your creed Colin. I like this.

just knowing where it is is learning about the world
and for you showing places with quiet eyes is also learning to others the quiet world; so nothing wrong here!
a quiet stone, water and trees compo; and nice of course with that darkness and lightness parts!
some other peoples speek about Yin and Yang and zen...

Hi Colin,
Another really nice shot with a great sense of illusion and dream like qualilty of multi image intermixing. Full of imagination. As a kid we have lot of rain and there lot of puddles and I use to stare into the puddle and see the sky and clouds and trees and I would jump in and thinking that I would just fall into the sky in the puddle, I dream and live in my own in imagination. Crazy kid I was.

Your image titles are unexpected but obvious at the same time, they add a whole new layer to the image itself. I like the image in itself as well, beautiful combination of simple everyday elements to something new. As a nitpicker, I'm not sure about the crop at the bottom.
