Photographer’s Note
While this is what you would expect of a typical summer/autumn scene, this was actually taken on Sunday 28 December whilst walking in the Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales.
Lovely clear day with an air temperature of 2C but wind chill making it feel more like -6C. Pockets of frost and frozen ponds galore. A good test of the new Nikon D90.

Hi David, good composition, with the hay bale well placed in the image. As you say it looks like a summer scene, except, is that a small patch of frost on the ground? Brrr. cheers, Steve
