Photographer's Note
This is a shot of The Brecon Beacons from Bwlch y Ddwyallt. Fan y Big, Cribyn, Pen y Fan and Corn Du can be seen to the right of the shot with part of Cwm Cwareli slopping down from the ridge from the left.
I took this shot as I liked the shadow falling down the cwm and the view of the Beacons in the distance.

Hello Adam,
warm welcome on TE, you are giving us a very impressive landscape, I was really surprised after clicking the thumb nail and realised the true size of the mountains thanks to the tiny figures included on the left.
I love the patches of shade painted by clouds on the sides of the mountains.
Well done
Best wishes

Hello Adam.
This is just how I remember the Beacons from my only visit in 1994 - sweeping valleys and shadowed escarpments bare of trees. In this shot, I think the sky is superbly captured. I like the tiny figures, giving us such a good idea of the scale of the topographical features. Fine shot.
Regards,
Andrew
