Photographer’s Note
This woman is known locally as the bag lady. Her caravan burned down so she salvaged her posessions and started a journey to London to see her children. Police have offered to help but she refuses and travels 15 feet per day. Last year she was in Cardiff and now here she is in Newport, 15 miles away.

This story seems to me very strange, but quite fascinating, especially because she refuses help. Do you know why? And did she know you were taking a photo of her? (I suppose so)...
