Photographer's Note
This is a shot on the island of Llanddwyn. I have posted a shot of this before but from a different POV. Given the winter weather in the UK at the moment I am forced to sort and sift through my back catalogue to reconsider images that I overlooked before in terms of whether they were going to end up on TE.
Having commented on the history of this island in my previous shots of this lighthouse I will leave you with a link to wikipedia for your further research!

Enjoy.

Hello Michael ,
A fabulous place , and an excellent capture of it . I like how you've composed the picture , with the litle yellow flowers in the green grass in the FG . Then , the sinuous stairway leads to the white loght house . It looks a little like a wind mills , without the sails ! The cloudy sky and the light are other great features of the shot .

Ciao Michael
Hai fatto un'ottima composizione mettendo il faro in alto a destra con le scalette che guidano lo sguardo su di esso. Belli i colori e appropriata l'atmosfera tempestosa che mette ancor più in risalto il verde della vegetazione

Hello Michael,
Great composition and beautiful soft colours. I visited Anglesey and North Wales 30 years ago, but I don't remember this beautiful place (my only memories: Beaumaris castle, the lighthouse on a rock near Holyhead and immense beaches on the south coast with an almost exotic view on the moutains of Snowdonia),
greetings, Rudi

Hello Michael,
Yes, I remember your previous shot but it is always interesting to take a different angle on a favourite site.
The lighthouse is very strongly positioned and has the delightfully curved path and stairway as its lead.
The ruggedness of the topography helps to create a very lonely atmosphere.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Good afternoon Micheal,
I like how you kept all the colors in cool tones, they contrast so nicely with each other. Very good POV and composition. The path leads the eye to the lighthouse and the hills on the horizon finish off the image.
This is very good work and thanks for sharing it!
Warm regards
Kamila

Hello Michael,
This is a charming and love view and a fine composition with good depth, thanks to the path and the steps. The lighthouse is beautifully placed on top of the hill and the view from up there seems to be quite fantastic. The green dominance is very attractive and the yellow flowers in the foreground make it even more appealing.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Michael,
The great point of view, the stairs to the
lighthouse and the vertical position (and
the great composition) creates a lots of
depth. Light management is also great.
The sky is a nice extra, it fits very good
with the landscape.
Friendly regards,

Hi Michael,
I hear you with the weather, I was looking forward to Christmas break to try and get some camera work in, and every single day was as grey as grey can be, resulting in pretty much no new shots, so I also was looking through my old stuff. In saying that though, if I was going through old shots and found something like this, I'd be as pleased as punch.
Its a beautiful POV on th lighthouse, and the sky is really a cool backdrop. Perfect lighting, and it makes it so tempting to walk up those stairs which look so inviting!
All the best
Noel

Hi Michael
Une très belle lumière avec de beaux nuages pour renforcer le côté dramatique de la photo. Une bonne utilisation du grand angle pour donner beaucoup de profondeur.
Beau travail !!

Hello Michael,
I like the overall composition of this image with the path leading to the lighthouse and giving a good gepth to the photo. The lighthouse is strongly positioned in the frame and stands out proudly against the awesome cloudy sky. The place itself has a kind of loneliness and end of the line feel to it. Wonderful shot.
Kind regards,
Christian

this is another attractive picture of this lighthouse. your vertical format has created additional depth and helps catch the viewers eye leading them along the path towards the lighthouse. superb colours in the sunlight, very warm and appealing.

Hi Mike - Of your shots of this lighthouse, I think this one stands above the rest - the POV and entry into the shot is superb, and the lighting really hits me as I look at it. It's very bright in spots, but never overexposed, even in the sky, where given the cloud cover it would have been easy to do; that brightness really brings out grest greens and yellows in the FG. The lighthouse itself is a great focal point, and the eye is drawn to it well up the long path and stairs.
I wonder if, after completing this lighthouse, the builders stepped back to get a good look, and then realized with horror that they built it at a tilt?

Hello Michael,
I like the way that the path meanders towards the lighthouse giving a very well organised composition. The dark clous hovering over the lighthouse increases the atmosphere of this very well taken shot.
Best wishes, Ann

Hello Michael,
There is something magical in British Isles about the green in such abundance and usually greyish overcast sky.
This scene is very inviting to step in and go up the steps to the lighthouse)
Tfs!

Jenna
