Good Morning Everyone,
As an anniversary surprise, my husband took me to Cemeas Bay. As we arrived, in late afternoon, this scene is what greeted us. What could be more relaxing, more tranquil, more naturally beautiful!
You can imagine how thrilled I was!
Cemeas Bay is a pretty little port on the isle of Anglesey. Shortly after I had taken this shot, we got into conversation with another couple who told us that they had been returning to this place for 25 years; they loved it so much! I think that says it all!
Have a lovely day, Bev :-)

A beautiful coastal phot (maybe just a touch over sharpened, (but TE seems to be sharpening photos as they upload these days) - good colour and composition.

an idyllic view this full of maritime elements and wonderful warm/cold contrasts. A gentle light that is both calming and beautifully compelling. Captivating!
Have a great week - Brian.

Le voilier est arrivé juste au bon moment pour s'offrir comme point focal dans ce très beau cadrage vertical qui apporte beaucoup de profondeur à la composition. une belle journée en bord de mer.

A very nice picture with this boat on the blue sea. Looks like the tide was out, I wonder what this scene would be with more water around. It still looks very pleasant here, a fine place for a walk along theshore.

nice composition with interesting foreground chosen. White silhouette of the yacht makes an important contribution too. It seems like a lovely destination indeed.
Very well done,

Lovely composition of this little bay. Nice POV showing plenty of the beach leading to the waters edge and the little lone boat anchored out in the sea and the perfect position of the horizon. The colours of the beach and the sea really compliment each other.

Very attractive sea side composition. I like the spotted moment with the yacht passing by. Well seen, enjoy a fine evening.

Been away from TE for a few days and now I see this! A lovely view which I think I probably last saw about sixty years ago when I went with my Mum and Dad to visit two aged maiden great aunts who once lived here. I really must go back and see this place sometime.
A gorgeous view which you have composed well in this photograph, the distant view of the sea and boats seen over the clean sandy beach and the rocks and pools covered and filled with seaweed. I can almost smell it!
Lovely soft colours, perfect exposure and excellent details and sharpness.
P.S. It's actually Cemaes Bay.
P.P.S. See you next week - I've sent you an email.

The soft pastel colors and seaweed covered rocks are superb here. I might have cropped out the triangular fg shadow in the bottom left corner as it really doesn't add much to the overall shot imho. I do like the solitary yacht in the bg anchoring the shot (pun intended) and provided a fine focal point. Tfs!

Nice view from a dominant possition
Very good lights ambiance
You need kust to crop and mask the triangle on the left corner :)

Picture well divided into three lavels, Beverly, with the blue flat sea as the main subject here. calm but a slight wind detected with the small ripples over water surface. The rocks in FG maybe interesting element, but to my humble opinion there was enough depth from the beach out to sea.
Anyway, this tells how well you had enjoyerd your husband surprise to you.

I really enjoyed this one here too!
I love its wonderful simplicity and peaceful mood!
Level of sharpness, exposure, colors, slim black borders, vertical format, chosen pov and composition truly pleased me!
TFS - congrats,
