Photographer’s Note
Another post form this beautiful little valley near to Betws-Y-Coed. This was truly one of those fabulous moments, great location perfect weather conditions. I just hope that I managed to make the best of it!

Hi Trevor,
The colors, the shapes, the foreground wall, the peaks and the movement implied in the clouds say to me only one thing - Wales!
Some might ping on this for a somewhat dark foreground but I like it a lot. Using the trees as framing is a classic and solid compositional technique. These trees sure have interest as well and I like the way you've organised things. I wish that you had taken an ever so slightly lower POV to visually separate the lowest branch and distant peak but there is still bags of drama here.
We took the train to the top of Snowden back in 2006 but I have yet to return now that I understand how to switch my camera off Auto mode. Maybe later this year...
