Less than a perfect day - if you were looking for blue skies, yes. I enjoy the overcast skies and the cool wind though. This is shown well in the photo with the blurred grasses. You have handled the exposure here very well.

I looked through your gallery - you have made some very nice photos. I see that you have been to many of the national parks here - I am planning on going a walk for a day next monday. Though, since I have not been in England for long, I am not sure what would be best to go on. I am living in leeds and would like to go just for the day. Perhaps Yorkshire Dales or the Peak District. Any specific suggestions? Thanks for this and thank for sharing.

Hi Ian.
...but a great photo! The lightness is very nice here, the photo is nice composed withe heavy cloudy sky. I like it.
