Photographer’s Note
This was taken the day before yesterday's posting of the Harbourmaster Hotel, which can be seen here in the background.
Nowadays, the harbour is full of pleasure boats.
My ancestors shipbuilding yard was at the mouth of the harbour: just out of sight, to the left in this shot.

Hi Peter,
This is a very nice post. The colors are good. The boats on the water are placed so nicely and uniformly that it seems that they are forming a nice pattern. In my opinion, it might be better to crop the lower portion of the photo i.e. the rocky part.

Hi,Peter,
It looks like a boat race, though,I presume, it isn't the case.
I Like your POV and the soft wintery snowless colours.

Hi Peter,
Fine framing of the grass and stones in the foreground and the line formed by the quay and the houses are completing the composition. This seems like a nice place to live. Also interesting to see the blue hotel with its surroundings.

Hello, Peter.
This is very well taken. Although this was June, nonetheless it looks as though this was quite a dull day. You have still managed to retain colour in the sky and lots of detail in the rest of the picture.
I agree with Gunar that it's nice to see the Harbourmaster Hotel in its surroundings.
Sharp and clear and technically perfect as always!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Peter
Why is it that the British who live by the sea feel they have to paint their houses in wonderful colours whereas the inlanders are much more conservative in their choice?
Anyway a nice contrast between the houses and the boats. Well framed with the rocks and grass at the bottom.
Regards
Phil
